Hauschka, Zeigler, and Kosminen join forces in a dynamic trio setting that includes prepared piano, electric cello and electronics and percussion.

Hauschka is the performance alias for German pianist/composer Volker Bertelmann. Also a pioneering force in neo-classical music, Hauscka has performed to sold out audiences across the world and collaborated with a vast variety of artists including Mum, Tortoise, and Jan Tomita.A hugely prolific artist, Hauschka’s work includes prepared piano performances, compositions for various ensembles, film scoring, and remixing. He has released highly praised albums for FatCat and Karaoke Kalk and his work has been featured in over a dozen films.

Samuli Kosminen is a Finnish percussionist who has been involved in numerous musical projects over the years. He is a member of Icelandic pop band Múm who since 1998 have forged a sublimely bright warm rich take on electronica. Kosminen was also a member of Finnish musical group Edea who went on to compete in the Eurovision contest with their song “Aava”.
